Description and location
Built by ismail Pa þ a, one of the Ottoman governors of Egypt , between 1971 and 1878, San Ko þ k (the Yellow Pavilion) stands in Emirgan Park on the European side of the Bosphorus. The charming small building is in the style of a chalet. The ornamentation on the roof and exterior walls and interior decor are the work of Sarkis Balyan, the most famous architect of the time. The pavilion enjoys a fine view of the Bosphorus and is noted for its magnificent garden and large lake. It has been extensively and carefully restored since being taken over by Istanbul Municipality.
Meeting facilities
The pavilion is able to accommodate up to 100 people for meetings of all kinds in both winter and summer
