DESCRIPTION AND LOCATION
Malta Köşkü (The Maltese Pavilion) stands in Yıldız Park, to the east of Yıldız Palace. Built in the 19th century by Sarkis Balyan and his brothers, some of the best-known architects of the period, the yellow and gren painted building stands on two fl oors. The pavilion witnessed a number of historical events but remained empty for some 40 years after Sultan Abdülhamid II. (1876-1909) went into exile. It was taken over and restored by Istanbul Municipality in 1941.
Malta Pavilion is operated by Beltur The Metropolitan Istanbul Education Tourism and Health Investments Operation and Trade Corporation.
MEETING FACILITIES
Malta Pavilion off ers services including a wide selection of open buff et breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as a la carte, cafeteria, company anniversaries, special meetings, product launches, summer weddings. It is used for meetings for up to 450 people in summer and can host cocktail for up 550 guests. In the winter, it is able to accommodate 150 people for meeting and cocktails.
