Description

Many of the service buildings belonging to Dolmabahçe which were occupied by various government institutions are now being reincorporated into the palace. Under this project the main kitchen building has been restored and repairs carried out to the second kitchen building on the seaward side. Under Phase I of the project an area of 2421 sqm has been opened to the public as Dolmabahçe Cultural Center. Repairs and restoration work are continuing under Phase II of the project, encompassing a further 3854 sqm of kitchens, larders, and storage rooms. Once these are opened the Cultural Center will be able to expand its activities as a venue for exhibitions, recitals and other cultural events.

Meeting facilities

Dolmabahçe Cultural Center can seat 2000-3000 people for banquets, and accommodate 5000 people for cocktail parties. It is available for fairs, dinner receptions, fashion shows and concerts.
